Grand Openings & Office Openings
Fitness openings are membership drives. The people the club needs to reach are driving past, not attending on invitation, so the entrance has to be visible from the parking area and legible at speed. That pushes the design toward high-contrast color and large, simple shapes rather than fine detail.
Gyms also open into a longer day than most retail. Prospective members arrive across the full opening period rather than in a launch hour, so the installation has to still look complete late in the day, on an exterior frontage, in whatever weather the site gets.
Using both an arch and columns gives the entrance two ranges. The arch is the long-distance signal that something is happening; the columns work at walking pace, marking the door itself as members reach it. Orange against white is one of the highest-contrast pairings available and holds up in flat daylight where softer palettes wash out.
Using the club's own orange rather than a general celebration palette is what ties the entrance to the brand on the sign above it. Three photographs record the finished installation.

Balloon Décor is a service-area business, not a chain of storefronts. Projects run out from San Francisco across the Peninsula, Silicon Valley and the South Bay, and the team travels to openings beyond the immediate Bay Area — Gilroy among them — when the schedule allows.
This project sits under grand opening & office opening décor across the bay area, and appears alongside comparable work in the grand openings & office openings portfolio.
